Blackjack surrender

The goal of playing Blackjack Surrender is to beat the dealer’s score without exceeding 21. This online blackjack game offers a ‘surrender’ option, where you can give up half your bet if you think that you are likely to lose.
The game uses six standard card decks, which are shuffled after each round.
Getting Started:
Click on a chip to select it.
Click again on a Betting Circle to place the chip as a bet. Each click thereafter will bet a chip of the same value. You can go back and select a different chip if you wish.
Press Undo to remove the chip that was last placed on the betting table. Select Clear Bets to remove all chips and start over.
Choose Double if you wish to instantly double all bets placed on the table.
Click Deal when you have placed your bets.
Note: You can place as many chips as you like, as long as you are within the betting limits displayed in the panel on the top of the screen.
Note: Placing a chip on more than one Betting Circle will count as a new hand. More information on multi-hand blackjack can be found below.
How to Play:
Two cards are dealt to you and the dealer. Your two cards are dealt face up. The dealer has one card face up and one face down. The following options will appear on screen:
Hit = receive another card.
Stand = play out the hand with the current cards.
Double = double your bet and receive another card.
Surrender = end the round and forfeit half your initial bet.
Split = split your hand into two new hands. This options is only offered if your initial two cards have the same value.
Note: Surrender is only available after the first two cards are dealt. It is not offered after Hit, Stand, Split or Double is selected.
When you have made your play, the dealer will draw cards for their hand. The dealer must abide by certain rules, most notably they must draw to 16 and stand on all 17s or above. If you beat the dealer’s score, you will be paid 1 to 1 on your bet. If the dealer beats your score, or you go bust (exceed 21), you will lose your stake. Attaining the same score will result in a push (tie), your stake will be returned.
When the game has been concluded, the following options will appear on screen:
New Game = start a new game from scratch.
Rebet = start a new game and place the same bets as the previous round.
Rebet and Deal = place the same bets as the previous round and deal the cards.
Multi-Hand Blackjack:
Placing a chip on more than one Betting Circle will start a new hand. You can play up to five hands simultaneously. Each hand is judged separately against the dealer. The cards will be dealt and game actions will be performed from right to left. You can bet different amounts on different hands if you like.
Insurance:
If the dealer’s first (showing) card is an Ace, you will be offered Insurance. This is a side bet that can be made on the prospect of the dealer having blackjack. The insurance bet stake is equal to half your initial stake. If the dealer has blackjack, you will be paid 2 to 1 on the Insurance bet. If you do not want to make the Insurance bet, click Skip Insurance.
Surrender:
When the first cards are dealt, you will be offered the Surrender option. Selecting Surrender will end the game round. The idea is that you take the loss of half your stake if you believe your chances of winning are low.
Double:
The Double option allows you to double your bets if you think drawing one more card will beat the dealer’s hand. The bet made is equal to your initial bet (taken from your balance).
Split:
Two cards of the same value can be split after the initial deal. This will cost a bet amount equal to your initial bet. The split hands are played out as two separate hands.
Please note:
You cannot split a hand that has already been split.
You can draw as many new cards as you like to a split hand, except only one more card can be drawn for split Aces.
If you split two Aces and draw a ‘10’ (10, Jack, Queen King) card, this is considered 21 and not blackjack.
7 Card Charlie:
If you draw seven cards and do not exceed 21, you will beat any hand but blackjack. This is known as 7 Card Charlie.
