The blonde pirate is the wild symbol and she can substitute for all the other symbols, except the scatter and bonus symbols, to help and form winning combinations.
Scatter
There are two scatter symbols, a treasure chest scatter and a map scatter, and they both trigger bonus features.
Bonus Features
Every time that the blonde pirate lands to the immediate left or right of the eyepatch wearing pirate she will turn him wild to help and form more wins.
If you can land three, four or five of the map scatter symbols anywhere on the reels the Treasure Island Bonus begins. The aim of the game is to work your way along three progressively more valuable maps and collect prizes on the way. You need to spin the captain’s wheel to determine how many places you move around a map board. Each board contains prizes, maps, and skull and crossbones. If you collect three maps you move on to the next island while landing on the skull and crossbones ends the game. The islands are called Booty Island, Isle of Plenty and Jackpot Island. If you trigger the game with four or five scatters you will start on the Isle of Plenty or Jackpot Island respectively.
Landing three treasure chest scatters starts the Treasure Chest bonus game. The chests are brought to the front of the screen and open up to reveal different jewels. If the three jewels in a chest match then you win a prize and another go. Furthermore, if you land three diamonds in each chest then you win the progressive jackpot.
