Shopping Spree is a 5-reel 9-line video slot that was developed and released by Realtime Gaming. The game has a classic look and is based on a shopping theme. The player can enable a new paying line for every coin they are willing to risk. The gameplay follows the regular slot rules. The player can start the game by clicking on the “spin” button. Once the reels have stopped, the computer checks for winning combinations. If it finds any, it will pay out the player according to the paytable. The game has a fixed line denomination of $0.25.
Game Features
There is no wild symbol in this game, but there is a scatter and another bonus symbol. The scatter is represented by the Dollar Sign symbol. As a scatter, this special symbol may not necessarily appear in a sequence or on a paying line. It can make a winning combination for the player, even if they appear on totally different reels without connecting either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The only thing that matters is how many of them appeared on the reels. When one or two appear, nothing really happens.
However, when three or more of those special symbols appear anywhere on the five reels, the players win a bonus prize. In most slots the scatter will trigger some kind of bonus game, in Shopping Spree this is not necessarily the case. Once the player has managed to spin three or more of those symbols, they will simply come together on the reels. When that happens, the player instantly wins a prize, and the size will be dependent on the denomination that the player made prior to the round.
