South park reel chaos

South Park Reel Chaos mobile slot is the follow up game of the incredibly successful South Park slot released in 2013. We will be honest straight away; the graphics are better than in the original, but it’s not half as much fun.
But don’t stop reading just yet. We rated the original very highly – so highly in fact, that trying to hit perfection again was going to be next to impossible. It’s also a mid-variance slot machine, which South Park Reel Chaos slot game is not. This is a horse of a different colour, and not just in theme, but because it’s far nicer to your wallet.
Before we begin, we should point out that this mobile slot machine works as beautifully as an Android slot as it does on iOS devices. And though you can play it in portrait mode, you really do need the whole landscape to appreciate all the chaos on the reels.
So let’s head down to South Park (again) and meet some new friends of mine (ours).
South Park Reel Chaos slot looks and plays beautifully
Rumour is, the South Park studio is heavily involved in the graphics of the game, leading to an authentic look and feel that fans of the show will certainly appreciate. But it doesn’t have the nostalgia feeling as the first slot, which had the well known gags and jokes. In fact, Reel Chaos has very few real funny jokes, preferring instead to bring a storyline of two factions of 9 year old boys fighting a super-heroic war.
It means that fans of the crude, rude, humour will be disappointed, whilst people who aren’t into dancing poop and fart jokes (or even the show) will be able to throw themselves in, without needing to fear the need to be familiar with it all.
Personally, we missed that ‘die hippy!’ playfulness, but we can see why NetEntertainment designers would want to do something a little different. No one wants the same slot twice.
Not as chaotic as the original, but just as many features
Ironically, considering this is the “South Park Reel Chaos video slot”, it’s not half as chaotic as the first slot machine. Which fits the kind of player this is for; the one who wants to be able to play for ages, without it eating too much of your cash away.
The full list of features is below this review. So we won’t be going too much into each. Needless to say, the free spin rounds come often, and a big win is around 50x your bet. If you manage to beat the boss to the end you might even expect something like 100x your bet. Sure, more is possible, but realistically, expect that much in the top end.
However, as it hits often, you can just as easily win 20x your bet, but don’t be too disappointed; you’ll get the feature again in less than 50 spins.
Randomly triggered everything…
The rest of the features are all randomly triggered and give you extra wilds and multipliers. So randomly triggered are they that it’s hard to get super excited about them. With the original at least you knew which of the randomly triggered features would get you something big, but with this South Park 2 slot each feature is more clearly set to help you top up, rather than create that big win thrill.
That’s part of the problem of why this mobile game only gets the four rather than five stars. Without the features, getting any decent win here is next to impossible. It means that before every spin, if you don’t see anything much happening on screen, you know it’s going to be a bust. It kinda kills that ‘oooh whats going to happen’ thrill, because… you can tell. No special feature = no decent wins.
That said, they do show up fairly often and all you need is to get a wall of Cartman stacked wilds, or get close to hitting that 10x multiplier in the Stan re-spin, and you’ll soon hear your heart tick to the South Park Reel Chaos beat.
