Like many of the these movie themed scratch cards the graphics are pulled directly from the film. With movie quality sound effects and animation the card delivers at first rate experience for the player – but what about the actual game play?
The scratch card element of Thor is fairly standard, you scratch away nine panels to reveal prizes ranging between 1 and 1000x your stake. Thors legendary hammer pays out the most at 1000x and other characters from the movie represent smaller cash prizes. Of course you’ll need to match three symbols win a prize. However, there is another way to win on this card, reveal the golden orb to trigger a bonus game. Once in the bonus game you get to pick one of six orbs, each has a cash prize hidden behind it. I triggered the bonus game a few times whilst testing out the card and won everytime, even if the wins where only small (£1 – £2).
What I do like about Thor is the way you can control the price of the card. You can play for as little as 5p per card or a maximum of £1. The sizes of jackpots on offer is reflected in the price of the card, so you’ll be playing for lower prizes at 5p per card. But, for just a few quid you’ll get plenty of chances to win.
